I'm George Bell, Master Forensic Inspector, I get called in when something goes wrong with a floor installation and nobody can agree on why. My job is to investigate the failure, document the evidence, and produce a report that holds up --- whether that's for a homeowner who just wants a straight answer, an attorney building a case, or a manufacturer standing behind a warranty claim.
I don't install floors. I don't sell flooring. I don't make a dime either way, no matter which direction the evidence points. I call it the way the evidence shows it. That's the whole job. Anyone can tell you a floor is curling or a tile is lippage-out-of-spec. My value is finding the actual *why* the cause that holds up once every piece of evidence is on the table, not just the first explanation somebody liked. |
